Qualifications

• Experience in direct care or human services is preferred.

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred; additional training in disabilities a plus.
• Commitment to compassionate care and dignity for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing needs and environments with problem-solving skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized support to individuals with developmental disabilities to promote independence.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal prep, and medication administration.
• Documentation of progress notes, goals, and incidents; maintain records accurately.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals and families to implement comprehensive care plans.
• Facilitate community outings and social activities to promote inclusion and engagement.
• Support during appointments and healthcare follow-ups; ensure safety and well-being.
