Job summary

Bridge Community Development Center Mississippi in Cleveland, MS is seeking a passionate Supported Employment Job Coach to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve meaningful, sustainable work.

You will provide one-on-one coaching, develop individualized employment plans, build relationships with local employers, and advocate for inclusive practices while working with families and case managers to ensure client success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, or related field preferred
• Prior experience in supported employment, job coaching, or disability services is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centered approach
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to empowering individuals with diverse needs
• Familiarity with vocational rehabilitation or IDD services is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one job coaching and on-site support to individuals with disabilities in workplace settings
• Develop and implement individualized employment plans tailored to each client's strengths and goals
• Build and maintain relationships with local employers to identify and secure job placement opportunities
• Train clients on job-specific tasks, workplace expectations, and professional conduct
• Monitor client progress and document outcomes in accordance with program requirements
• Collaborate with case managers, families, and support teams to ensure holistic client success
• Advocate for workplace accommodations and inclusive hiring practices
