Job summary

Opportunity Partners in Minnesota seeks an Employment Service Coordinator to help people with disabilities work and earn a paycheck at customer sites, including the General Mills Bakery in Chanhassen.

You will train and coach program participants, strengthen their skills, and foster independence in a supportive work environment. Schedule is Mon–Fri, 6:30 AM–2:30 PM with a $20.00 hourly wage.

Qualifications

• Designated coordinator may have a related Bachelor's degree and 1 year of direct care experience.
• Designated coordinator may have an Associate degree with 2 years of experience.
• Diploma holders may have 3 years of experience in care or education.
• Minimum 50 hours of related education and 4 years of full-time experience under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and assist our people with disabilities at customer sites.
• Liaise between our business customers and clients to ensure program success.
• Help clients develop and enhance their work skills.
• Communicate with representatives, county case managers, referral sources, and coworkers.
• Help individuals find meaningful work and grow their social skills.

Education

Bachelor's degree in human services, education, or health

Associate degree in human services, education, or health

Diploma in human services, education, or health

50 hours of education and training in human services/education
