employU, Inc in Florida is seeking an Employment Specialist to create and implement client job plans, matching interests and reasonable distances from home while supporting long-term job retention.

You will coordinate with job coaches, develop MOUs, guide applicants, assist with resumes, and liaise with employers to empower people with disabilities toward independence and meaningful work.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; some college preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus (English/Spanish).
• Open availability; days, evenings and weekends may be required.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Organizes MOUs and builds new business relationships; assists team with area MOU development.
• Supervises, trains and assists Job Coaches with job activities and monitors work hours.
• Searches for OJT opportunities that match customer interests and reasonable commute distances.
