Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Nittany Valley is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language disorders in a hospital setting. You will develop and administer tailored treatment plans and document progress while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires current licensure or certification, CCC, CPR or within 30 days of hire, and a master’s degree preferred (or a bachelor’s degree with field experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of CCC.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
