Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Special Education Teacher to empower students with diverse needs and support their educational goals. You will develop IEPs, deliver differentiated instruction, and monitor progress to ensure effective interventions.

You’ll collaborate with ARD teams, classroom staff, and families, implementing BIPs and accommodations to foster an inclusive learning environment and student growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field.
• Texas Educator Certification in Special Education (EC-12) via TEA.
• Knowledge of IDEA and ARD process; CPR certification preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop Individualized Plans by collaborating with the ARD committee to create IEPs.
• Deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings.
• Monitor progress by collecting and analyzing data to meet IEP goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families; participate in ARD meetings.
• Promote positive behavior with BIPs and classroom management strategies.
• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth through accommodations.
