Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse needs. You will develop IEPs, deliver differentiated instruction, and collaborate with ARD teams to ensure compliance with IDEA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or related field.
• Texas EC-12 Special Education certification (TEA).
• Knowledge of IDEA and ARD process; CPR certification preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the ARD committee.
• Deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings to meet diverse needs.
• Monitor progress by collecting and analyzing data to ensure IEP goals are met.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families; participate in ARD meetings.
• Promote positive behavior by implementing BIPs and classroom management strategies.
• Support students’ growth through accommodations and modifications.
