Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold or be eligible for NYS Teaching Assistant certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with lesson plans and small group instruction.
• Provide supervision in various non-classroom areas.
• Substitute for the classroom teacher as needed.
• Communicate student progress to the teacher and staff.
• Develop positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Attend faculty meetings and required trainings.
• Prepare instructional materials and perform clerical tasks.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
