Job summary

Pascua Yaqui Tribe seeks a Social Worker I to monitor and assist a caseload within a social services program, determining benefits under established regulations and guiding clients through services and resources.

Responsibilities include assessments, referrals, documentation, maintaining client files, coordinating with tribal and external agencies, and providing crisis intervention as needed. A valid AZ driver's license and non-traditional hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in case management or social work.
• Associate's Degree in Social Work, Business Administration, Education, or related field, plus two years of experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Business Administration, Education, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs and provide referrals to community resources.
• Perform case management duties: document preparation, client education, referrals, and monitor progress.
• Maintain regular contact via phone, home visits, and office/site visits.
• Develop service plans and coordinate with tribal and external agencies.
• Provide crisis intervention and prepare progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with laws and program guidelines.
