Good Shepherd Services, Ltd invites applications for the School Outreach & Family Support Coordinator to support the SBES program across PS/MS schools in the Bronx.

The role provides case management and family outreach, coordinating with schools, families, and Triple P groups, ensuring trauma-informed, strength-based service delivery.

U.S. candidates must be bilingual (English/Spanish), available for early-morning and evening hours, and able to travel to schools on a regular basis.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Social Services preferred; HS degree with sufficient experience considered.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
• Available for early mornings and evening hours to accommodate parent and school personnel needs.
• Willing to travel to each school and be on site regularly.
• Excellent organizational, written, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Commitment to a strength-based, trauma-informed, anti-racist, youth and family development perspective.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct assessments of children and families referred by the Assistant Director.
• Provide case management services based on assessments using a strength-based approach.
• All children of assigned families must be assessed each month.
• Maintain participant case records according to program policies and procedures.
• Conduct home visits and escort program participants to appointments as needed.
• Plan, coordinate and attend school social activities for children, parents, and families.
• Prepare appropriate statistical reports.
• Attend and participate in program staff meetings.
• Participate in school meetings when indicated.
• Facilitate the Triple P group for all families involved with the school.
• Implement and integrate SBC principles: assessment, outcomes, action plans and documentation.
