Job summary

Pittsburgh Mercy is seeking a part-time Child/Adolescent Therapist to provide psychotherapy in both school and office settings. You will assess clients, determine treatment plans, and involve families in care planning.

The role requires collaboration with schools and community partners, and involves documentation in electronic health records per policy. The position is non-exempt and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Human Services with clinical practicum required.
• 1 year of care delivery experience.
• Pre-Employment Drug Screen required.
• Act 33/34/114 clearances required.
• Access to reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and clinical interventions for clients and parents/guardians when applicable.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments to determine client’s strengths and needs.
• Complete documentation within the electronic health record in congruence with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Engage with parents/guardians to strategize methods of supporting client goal progress and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with treatment team, school partners, community members, and third-party providers.
• Attend and participate in clinical, administrative, and community partner meetings.
