Job summary

Pittsburgh Mercy is seeking a Therapist for its Child & Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program. The role provides individual, family, and group therapy to youth facing emotional and behavioral challenges.

You will conduct assessments, develop plans, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team to support functional improvement at home, school, and community settings. The position emphasizes crisis management, collaboration, and educating families on treatment goals and resources.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field.
• License-eligible if not currently licensed.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy for children/adolescents.
• Develop psychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, teachers, and case managers for integrated care.
• Educate families on treatment goals, coping strategies, and resources.
• Document progress notes, plans, and discharge summaries per standards.
• Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
