Job summary

Lutheran Community Services NW is seeking a Certified Recovery Mentor (CRM) / Peer Support Specialist (PSS) to provide culturally specific peer support for refugee-immigrant and BIPOC clients facing substance use challenges. You will engage with providers, assist with case management, care coordination, and 1:1 peer counseling to address barriers to treatment and recovery.

Qualifications

• Certified Recovery Mentor (CRM) or Certified Peer Support Specialist-Adult Addictions (PSS) required.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Reliable transportation for travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally specific peer support to clients in recovery.
• Manage a caseload and meet with clients regularly.
• Coordinate care with treatment teams and document services.
• Provide education and employment support to clients.
• Engage with community outreach and program activities.
