Job summary

Bethany for Children & Families seeks a Qualified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner to support individuals with chronic mental illness through the Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation Service (IPRS) program. Working under general supervision, you will apply the rehabilitation philosophy developed by The Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation at Boston University.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a human services field.
• 60 contact hours of Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation Service training.
• Minimum of one year of experience providing services to the specified population.

Responsibilities

• Ensures informed consent and completes related legal documents for IP R services.
• Conducts triage interviews to determine client eligibility for IPRS.
• Completes initial readiness assessment and develops a service plan.
• Writes comprehensive social history and updates it annually.
• Develops individualized crisis plans in collaboration with clients.
• Delivers all phases of IPRS and tracks progress toward goals.
