Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to assess, plan, and implement rehabilitation programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, and strengthen patients. You will collaborate with physicians, families, and staff to develop goals and discharge plans in a patient-centered, cost-conscious model.

Responsibilities include treating plans, documentation, education, and referrals, with emphasis on ethical practice, confidentiality, and teamwork across units in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/Doctorate in Physical Therapy required.
• All certifications required upon hire (including BLS - Instructor).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements the PT treatment plan.
• Progresses patient toward goals with appropriate activities.
• Revises goals with patient and family input.
• Provides discharge instructions and follow-up.
• Documents evaluation and plan of care per guidelines.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to ethical standards.
