Job summary

NC Community Colleges seeks a Part-Time Nurse Aide I & II Instructor to deliver classroom, lab, online, and clinical instruction at the Main Campus. You will coordinate with the Nursing Assistant Coordinator and support program operations.

The role requires an Associate Degree in nursing, an active NC RN license, and at least two years of RN experience. Teaching adults or supervising nursing assistants with related elder care experience are required qualifications.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in nursing required.
• Current unencumbered RN license to practice in North Carolina.
• At least 2 years of RN experience.
• Must meet at least one: completed course in teaching adults, experience teaching adults, or experience supervising nursing assistants with 1+ year elderly/chronically ill care.

Responsibilities

• Teach Nursing Assistant I or II courses in classroom/lab and clinical settings, semester to semester.
• Assist with planning and implementing course and clinical orientation processes.
• Evaluate student performances and maintain attendance and grading records.
