Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute in North Carolina is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Aide Instructor to teach Nurse Aide courses and coordinate activities with college programs and outside agencies. The instructor will also support the Nurse Aide Coordinator and ensure coursework aligns with program goals.

Required qualifications include an Associate Degree in Nursing and an active North Carolina RN license without encumbrances.

Qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing from an institution accredited by a recognized agency.
Must be a registered nurse currently licensed in North Carolina with an unencumbered license.

Responsibilities

Plan and participate in the instruction of Nurse Aide classes; prepare supplements and tests; maintain attendance and performance records.
Prepare objectives, assignments, grading standards, attendance policies and course syllabus; select textbooks; prepare, proctor and grade tests.
Provide supervisor with objectives and course outlines for each class; manage class start/end times; turn in final grades and reports on time; revise course content as required.
Assist in evaluating program activities and operations to meet college goals and student needs.
