Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license.
• Minimum two years (4,000 hours) of RN experience in the US.
• Must meet at least one of: completed a course in teaching adult students; experience teaching adult students; or experience supervising nursing assistants.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lectures, tests, syllabi, and teach in classroom and lab; conduct clinical rotations.
• Teach Nursing Assistant I, II, Refresher, Competency, or Medication Aide classes as needed.
• Maintain office hours to meet with students and assist with coordinating health care courses and orientation of new instructors.
• Perform related administrative and record-keeping duties per governing agencies and report to the Instructor/Coordinator Nurse Aide.
