Job summary

Hope Learning Academy in Illinois is seeking a Paraprofessional to support students with developmental disabilities in a classroom setting. You will assist with instruction, data tracking, and daily activities aligned to IEP goals, promoting independence and a safe, engaging learning environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, and holding or pursuing a Paraprofessional licensure for Illinois, plus a valid driver’s license and background clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Paraprofessional licensure for Illinois is preferred or must be attained.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support students in a classroom setting at the Hope Learning Academy.
• Provide instruction and assistance that meets students’ IEP goals and objectives.
• Encourage student independence while following the classroom schedule and educational programs.
• Foster a stimulating, accepting, and safe learning environment.
