Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation to You is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to help patients get well in facility-based care settings. You will implement occupational therapy programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver treatments under the Director of Rehab.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Help patients get well and restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.
• Collaborate with teammates and refer to others to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards

Initial certification by NBCOT

Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in state of practice
