Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from accredited university.
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned.

Responsibilities

Plan and provide instruction to students identified as disabled under IDEA in accordance with the IEP.
Interface with Speech Language Pathologists, counselors, and occupational/physical therapists to coordinate educational efforts.
Maintain accurate records and report data such as attendance records and progress reports.
Participate in ARD/IEP process as the representative from special education instruction.
Develop and implement Behavior Management Plans and instructional modifications to meet student needs.
Collaborate with general education teachers to support student progress and inclusive practices.
Ensure safety and well-being of students and adherence to district policies.
