Job summary

Easthampton Public Schools’ Mountain View School in Easthampton, MA invites applications for a Middle School Special Education Teacher. The position is full-time for the school year, starting immediately, with salary in accordance with the Easthampton Educators Association contract.

The teacher will design standards-based instruction, foster an inclusive classroom, assess progress, partner with families, and collaborate with district staff to support diverse learners and equity in education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field required.
• Master’s Degree with appropriate content-area license preferred (or expected within 5 years).
• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum frameworks, instructional practices, and strategies to support diverse learners.
• Commitment to equity, inclusivity, and creating a safe, supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Designs and delivers standards-based instruction meeting diverse needs.
• Creates an inclusive, engaging classroom aligned to state frameworks.
