Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Statistics, Engineering, or closely related field is required.
• Demonstrated mastery of college-level mathematics through coursework or experience relevant to tutoring assignment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small-group tutoring in mathematics courses including Basic Math, Algebra, College Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and Trigonometry.
• Diagnose student learning gaps and adjust instructional approaches.
• Explain mathematical concepts using multiple methods and real-world applications.
• Guide students through structured problem-solving processes rather than providing answers.
