Job summary

New tutors complete rigorous training the first semester to cover clerical responsibilities, discipline knowledge, course content, and tutoring techniques. CAS front desk duties and a Circle In Pilot embedding begin fall 2026.

Qualifications

• Must be a MoWest student and degree seeking.
• Enrolled at least part-time and maintain a 3.0+ GPA.
• Must have earned an A or B in college math courses and secure two faculty recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring one-on-one or in small groups in CAS or via Zoom.
• Complete training in clerical duties, discipline content, and tutoring techniques.
• Operate the CAS front desk (greet, log clients, light clerical tasks).
• Study materials and complete exercises to build subject knowledge.
• Embedded in general studies math courses as part of Circle In Pilot in Fall 2026.
