Job summary

Newton Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants in a not-for-profit senior living community. This position emphasizes resident-centered care and compliance with regulatory standards.

Starting at $28.00 an hour with shift and weekend differential under our Premium Pay Plan; additional pay based on experience. PMMA offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our caregiving team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LPN program.
• Must possess a current license to practice as an LPN in this state.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
• Previous geriatric nursing/long-term care experience is a plus.
• IV Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
• Ensure care adheres to federal, state and local standards and regulations.
• Reflects the resident-centered care approach and dignity of residents.
