Job summary

KIPP Texas Public Schools seeks a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat students in grades K-12 with speech, language, and social communication disorders. The SLP will serve as a campus consultant for staff, teachers, and parents, and maintain accurate clinical records for students receiving speech therapy.

Responsibilities include evaluating students, delivering therapy in speech areas, tracking progress, presenting educator workshops, and participating in ARD/IEP

Qualifications

• Valid licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Texas.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Experience as SLP in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students with speech impairments and determine eligibility for services.
• Provide therapy in language, articulation, fluency, and voice areas.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ARD/IEP documentation.
• Deliver informative workshops for educators and staff.
• Attend and participate in monthly Special Education meetings.
