Job summary

The YMCA of South Florida is seeking a Job Coach under the direction of the Case Manager to support STEP students in daily program activities, assessments, and progress documentation. Responsibilities include supervising activities, maintaining safety, coordinating with school personnel, and delivering job coaching on workplace etiquette and independence.

A High School Diploma or GED is required, with experience in special education preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred with prior experience in Special Education.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and implement activities for a group of students in developmentally appropriate ways.
• Provide job coaching and transition instruction on workplace etiquette and independence.
• Document student progress and coordinate with the Case Manager.
