Job summary

Signature Healthcare at Home in Kitsap County is hiring a Home Care - Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Caregiver. This field-based role serves clients across Kitsap County with flexible day or night shifts; compensation is 25–27 per hour, and opportunities for PRN, part-time, or full-time work.

The CNA/HCA provides ADL support, medication reminders delegated by RN, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation assistance while maintaining HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• WA HCA certification or active HCA training status must be met.
• Current WA CNA license in good standing is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Food Handler permit, or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to pass background check and meet state licensing requirements.
• Ability to pass drug testing.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care per service plan.
• Provide light housekeeping, meal prep, and shopping assistance as directed.
• Perform delegated nursing tasks under RN delegation when trained.
• Document services on the same day as provided following agency standards.
• Follow infection control, safety protocols, and HIPAA requirements.
• Collaborate with team and notify supervisor of delays or safety concerns.
