Job summary

Henry-Senachwine High School is seeking a High School Guidance Counselor/SEL Coordinator to support students with social and emotional needs and to lead SEL initiatives within the building. The role includes coordinating with the building principal on testing and 504/IEP processes, administering the SEL screener, and reviewing data with the principal.

The position requires an Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate certifications, with compensation negotiated by the collective

Qualifications

• Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to students with social or emotional needs.
• Lead the SEL team within the building for proactive initiatives and support.
• Coordinate with the building principal on administration of various school or grade level testing.
• Provide feedback for 504 and/or IEP meetings.
• Administer the schoolwide SEL screener and review data with the building principal.
• Other duties as assigned by the building principal.
