Job summary

Gresham-Barlow School District seeks a temporary Elementary Teacher for Grades 3-5 at Powell Valley Elementary School. The position covers the 2026-2027 school year with 1.00 FTE and a 159 contract day schedule. Open until filled with competitive salary and stipends for multilingual certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in teaching or education.
• State of Oregon Teaching License with Elementary Multiple Subjects PK-12 endorsement, and current First Aid Card.
• Highly Qualified Status for assignment; CPR and First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Teaches reading, language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, art, music, physical education, and health education per district curriculum.
• Develops lesson plans and provides individualized and small group instruction.
• Administers Oregon statewide assessments and ensures security per district policies.
• Maintains accurate records of student progress, attendance and reports.
• Communicates with parents and holds conferences to discuss student progress.
