Qualifications

• Oregon teaching license required with Elementary Multiple Subjects PK-12 endorsement and First Aid Card.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience with diverse student populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaches reading, language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, art, music, physical education, and health education according to district/school goals.
• Instructs students in citizenship, literacy, numeracy, and core subjects per state laws and district policies.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials for individual and small group instruction.
• Leads students through development and evaluation of work samples and monitors progress.
• Administers Oregon statewide assessments as per district policies and procedures.
• Maintains a safe and positive learning environment and communicates progress with parents.
• Collaborates with educational staff to coordinate classroom activities and support student growth.
