Job summary

Adoration Health in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for PRN roles at Barclay House. The OT will provide flexible, 1:1 patient care with clinical autonomy in home-like settings.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree, active OT license, CPR, TB testing, and proof of auto insurance, with familiarity in independent living, assisted living, geriatrics or home health. Offering competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted OT license in the practicing state.
• Current Live CPR Certification.
• Two-step TB skin test required.
• Proof of Auto Insurance.
• Familiarity with geriatrics and/or home health settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing meetings.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide recommendations for safety and resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, client and family.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants as needed.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
