Job summary

Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission (NKCAC) is seeking a Mobility Coach to provide family-centered coaching to families in the service region. You will perform assessments, plan development, advocacy, service coordination, and performance reporting to help families move toward self-sufficiency.

The role requires collaboration with Head Start staff, adherence to program standards, and strength-based case management to support families in achieving goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Degree in Social Work, Human/Family Services, Counseling, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Efficient time management and reliable transportation with valid license.
• Pass criminal background check and alcohol/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Obtain a Human Services Credential within 1 year of hire.
• Conduct initial agency assessments and develop goal plans to coordinate services.
• Ensure compliance with National Performance Indicators and Head Start standards.
• Document progress and maintain records in statewide software.
• Complete home visits and coordinate with NKCAC team for holistic services.
• Plan workshops and assist with parent committee meetings and sessions.
• Maintain a balanced schedule to complete remote activities and in-person visits.
• Recruit and provide case management and goal coaching using Strengths-Based Framework.
