Qualifications

• >Ability to present information to diverse audiences.
• >Rental Counseling— HUD regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized financial coaching and education to help clients identify goals and create actionable plans.
• Build trusting, strengths-based relationships and coach clients to take an active role in goal setting and progress tracking.
• Help clients develop practical financial skills such as budgeting, savings, credit education, debt reduction, and banking access.
• Develop and implement Financial Empowerment Plans with measurable goals, steps, and timelines.
• Monitor client progress and document outcomes like savings, credit, debt, and budgeting improvements.
• Collaborate across NKCAC to align services and connect clients to broader resources.
• Advocate and navigate with creditors, utilities, and partners when appropriate.
• Create and lead financial education workshops and community outreach activities.
• Coordinate and facilitate Duke Energy Payment Plus and Assurance 16 sessions to ensure program requirements are met.
