Job summary

Child & Family Resources in Phoenix is seeking a Parent Educator to provide home visits under the Parents as Teachers program. You will support families, conduct family-centered assessments, set goals, and deliver monthly Group Connections while maintaining a caseload of 15 families.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 2+ years of experience with young children and families, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 2+ years working with young children (0–5) and families.
• Experience with families and children who are developmentally delayed.
• Knowledge of AzEIP program and home visitation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Strong cross-cultural communication and resource coordination.

Responsibilities

• Implement Parents as Teachers model with fidelity and follow policies.
• Maintain a caseload of 15 families and conduct home visits weekly or twice monthly.
• Coordinate and facilitate monthly Group Connections for families.
• Administer developmental screenings and support evaluations/IEP meetings.
• Document data in Penelope within required timeframes (72 hours).
• Engage with community partners and resources to meet family needs.
