Job summary

IMDiversity Inc. in Fort Collins, Colorado seeks an Elementary Special Education Teacher for Beattie Elementary School to instruct students in integrated services programs. This 100% assignment runs for one year with a start date immediate and a salary range based on the district schedule.

The role requires a Colorado teaching license with appropriate endorsement, dedication to equity and inclusion, and collaboration with staff, families, and outside agencies to support student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with proper teaching licensure program required.
• Experience in an educational setting with students with special needs preferred.
• Criminal background check required for hire.
• Crises Prevention Institute (CPI) certification encouraged within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, prepare, and implement course content, format, structure, and schedule.
• Instruct students in large, small, and/or one-on-one situations across curriculum.
• Monitor student learning and progress; maintain documentation of progress and needs.
