IMDiversity Inc. seeks an Elementary Special Education Teacher for Rice Elementary School in Wellington, Colorado, 100% assignment starting August 10, 2026. The position supports Multi-Categorical Program services within Integrated Services and requires planning, collaboration, and IEP development.

The district offers comprehensive benefits and a probationary position. A Colorado teaching license with endorsements is required and CPI/CPR certifications may be pursued after hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with proper teaching licensure program required.
• Valid Colorado teaching license with appropriate endorsements required.
• Experience in an educational setting with students with special needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, prepare, and implement course content, materials, and lesson plans; create IEP goals and transition plans.
• Instruct students in various settings across curriculum to a wide range of abilities.
• Organize schedules for students and paraprofessionals; assist in master scheduling for Integrated Services.
• Supervise and direct special education paraprofessionals; monitor student progress and adapt supports as needed.
• Communicate progress with parents/guardians and collaborate with teachers, staff, and outside agencies.
