Job summary

Onward Education is partnering with a Boulder County school to hire a Special Education Teacher for the 2026/2027 year. This on-site contract supports a middle school multi-intensive program with a full-time 37.5-hour schedule.

The role starts ASAP and ends May 21, 2027, with a collaborative environment involving paraeducators and related services to support students’ needs. Competitive pay, strong support, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Department of Education license or in the process of obtaining one.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with paraeducators and multidisciplinary teams.
• Flexible and team-oriented in a dynamic classroom setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide special education instruction for a middle school multi-intensive classroom setting.
• Support a classroom of approximately 10 students with a structured, student-centered approach.
• Collaborate daily with paraeducators and peer mentors to support learning and engagement.
• Partner with related services and support teams (BCBA, SLP, OT/PT, Psych/SW) to support student needs.
• Contribute as a flexible, team-oriented educator within the school-based program.
