Qualifications

• Six (6) semester units/credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
• Eligible to obtain the applicable Assistant Teacher-level Child Development Permit.
• Must maintain CPR/First Aid certification and Mandated Reporter training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developmentally appropriate classroom activities and daily routines.
• Prepare instructional materials and learning centers.
• Support implementation of lesson plans and classroom schedules.
• Maintain active supervision and ensure safety at all times.
• Follow directions from lead staff and communicate professionally with families and colleagues.
