Job summary

LIFESPAN Services Troutman is hiring Employment Specialists to build relationships with local employers and place individuals with disabilities in suitable jobs. You will provide training and mentoring to a team, ensuring supportive, compliant placement.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 18+, background checks, and a valid driver's license if transporting. Competitive pay, full benefits, and training are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Pass criminal record and healthcare registry check
• Pass driving record check if providing transportation
• High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Flexible hours including nights, weekends, overtime

Responsibilities

• Facilitate onsite job instruction and place individuals in suitable roles
• Maintain an average of 12 job placements per fiscal year
• Serve as liaison between employer and employee to meet needs
• Transport individuals to and from locations in a safe vehicle
• Market to prospective employers to secure placements
• Provide follow-along support and guidance to individuals
