Job summary

LIFESPAN Services is hiring compassionate Employment Specialists to build relationships with local employers and create job opportunities for individuals with disabilities. This is a part‑time, on‑site role in Troutman, NC, offering paid training and a supportive team environment.

You will work 1:1 with employers, provide training and mentoring, and help individuals succeed in integrated, community placements. Flexible schedules and a commitment to growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Pass criminal record and healthcare registry check.
• Pass driving record check if providing transportation.
• High school graduate or GED.
• First Aid/CPR certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate onsite job instruction and place individuals in suitable roles.
• Achieve an average of 12 job placements per fiscal year.
• Serve as a liaison between employer and employee to meet needs.
• Transport individuals to and from locations in a safe, confidential environment.
• Market to prospective employers to secure job placements.
• Complete intakes and maintain records per policy.
• Provide follow‑along support and guidance.
• Meet quarterly revenue objectives.
