Qualifications

• Min of a high school diploma, GED, and/or IEP.
• 1 year of experience in intellectual/developmental disabilities field.
• Medication Administration Certification preferred, not required initially.
• Must pass required trainings and maintain CMS trainings.
• Computer skills required for documentation.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Background checks and drug testing required.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides needed supports identified by the Person-Centered Planning Team.
• Teaches and assists with daily living tasks and household duties.
• Monitors medication administration and supports independence.
• Plans and participates in social activities and assessments per PCP.
• Documents activities in the EHR and client files daily.
