Job summary

Integrated Life Choices is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a variety of settings, promoting independence and community inclusion. DSPs will work independently, maintain safe environments, and document support provided during every shift.

Duties include supporting rights, self-advocacy, person-centered care, transportation, and assisting with daily living tasks.

Qualifications

• Empathetic, patient and compassionate approach to supporting individuals with IDD.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals, families and team members.
• Ability to work independently and follow documented plans and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in/home and community settings.
• Facilitate rights understanding and self-advocacy for individuals.
• Deliver person-centered supports to meet needs and promote independence.
• Assist with daily living activities and transportation as needed.
• Document support provided at the end of each shift.
• Promote social interactions and participation in groups or activities.
