Job summary

Thomas Allen inc. is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for Skyline locations. This part-time, on-site role focuses on empowering individuals in residential and community settings with person-centered support and training.

You will assist with daily routines, personal cares, and community activities while documenting progress and coordinating with care teams. Prior experience is helpful and flexible scheduling is available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Clear criminal background clearance.
• Active U.S. driver’s license meeting criteria.
• High School level English reading/writing.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and mobility support.
• Medication Administration Training completed by Thomas Allen inc.

Responsibilities

• Implement person-centered supports to empower individuals to achieve goals.
• Foster positive interactions with individuals, family, and community.
• Document activities, services, and progress per policies.
• Support medical needs, accompany to appointments, assist with personal cares.
• Promote community integration and socialization through activities.
• Assist with financial tasks and budgeting skills.
• Attend required trainings and review materials.
• Coordinate meal preparation respecting dietary needs.
• Handle incidents and emergencies safely and promptly.
• Maintain communication with supervisors and respond to inquiries.
• Demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
