Job summary

Thomas Allen is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Southview in South St. Paul, MN. The role is full-time, on-site, with an evening schedule (Monday–Friday, 1:45 pm – 10:15 pm).

The DSP will provide person-centered support in residential and community settings, assisting with daily routines, medication administration, and transportation as needed. Open positions offer hourly wages ranging from $18.00 to $21.00, with sleep/overnight rate of $11.41/hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Clear criminal background clearance required.
• Active U.S. driver’s license.
• High School proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Medication Administration Training completed.

Responsibilities

• Implement person-centered supports to empower individuals.
• Foster positive interactions with individuals, peers, family, and community.
• Document activities and progress per policies.
• Support medical needs, attend appointments, administer medication, assist personal cares.
• Coordinate meal preparation and dietary adherence.
• Attend trainings and review training materials.
• Maintain safety and respond to emergencies.
• Communicate with supervisors promptly.
