Job summary

Center for Human Services (CHS) is seeking a Direct Support Professional (PT) in Sedalia, Missouri. You will provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them participate in community activities and achieve greater independence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Integrate individuals by encouraging and facilitating community connections.
• Empower individuals by aiding in self-help skill development and self-advocacy; observe progress toward goals.
• Aid individuals with personal care and maintaining a safe, clean living environment; assist with medications and therapies as needed.
• Complete required documentation promptly, participate in trainings and meetings, and communicate professionally.
