Job summary

VIP in Rancho Cucamonga is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSA) to empower individuals with disabilities within our community. The role focuses on helping clients pursue job opportunities, guide their personal development, and prepare them for the workforce.

You will build skills and create opportunities to foster independence and achievement. The position offers hourly pay, health and wellness plans, life insurance, a 401(k), employee discounts, and paid time off/holidays.

Qualifications

• Availability: Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Create Personalized Job Activities: Design and schedule daily activities introducing clients to job opportunities.
• Community Supervision & Transport: Safely transport a small group of three clients in your own vehicle from VIP's office to community locations (mileage reimbursement provided).
• Supportive Supervision: Provide individual and group supervision in the community and on-site activities.
• Training for Success: Employ diverse training strategies to help clients reach goals.
• Document Progress: Maintain daily case notes and provide feedback to support progression toward goals.
