Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement OT programs in a facility setting, reporting to the Director of Rehab. You will deliver therapy, follow recovery plans, and help patients regain function with compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program per ACOTE/AOTA standards.
• Initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities and follow established recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments to patients as part of the OT plan of care.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to address the whole patient and promote independence.
• Support patient-centered care and adapt therapy to individual needs and goals.
• Refer to other team members as needed to ensure comprehensive care.

Education

Initial certification from NBCOT

Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice
