Job summary

Cherry Creek Careers is seeking an Instructional Para Educator to support licensed staff and assist students with curriculum in a school environment. Under supervision, you will help individuals or small groups, prepare materials, monitor behavior, and assist with assessment.

This role requires a High School diploma, good English communication, and strong organizational skills. You may perform light clerical duties and assist during field trips and drills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work 1:1 and in small groups with students.
• Proficiency in basic classroom technologies and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist students individually or in small groups with basic curriculum work and learning activities.
• Prepare classroom materials, monitor students, and document student achievement.
• Support behavior management and reinforce classroom routines and discipline procedures.
• Provide light clerical support (typing, filing, data entry) for the teacher.
• Assist with field trips, drills, and events as needed.
