Job summary

Sevita is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with daily living in residential settings. You will support social, health, and personal care plans, helping with transport and community activities.

This non-exempt, hourly role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities. Must be 18+, with a high school diploma or equivalent, and able to document progress while keeping information confidential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Working knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support: Provides direct support or assistance per individual plans, including socialization and development.
• Records: Documents progress and maintains confidentiality.
• Management of Individuals’ Assets: Makes cost-effective purchases within the budget.
• Relationships: Maintains professional relationships with individuals, families, guardians and case managers.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Six months experience in human services

Must be 18 years of age

Working knowledge of computers
